The Sims 2 is a simulation game, sequel to the successful PC game, which was all about controlling the lives of autonomous little computer people. The Sims 2 includes plenty of new features that enhance the gameplay even more. This new version features an enhanced neighborhood editor that lets you import custom cities from Maxis' own SimCity 4, if you have it installed and it also offers new building options that let you build a much bigger house. The characters now have some notable major new features like memories, customized appearances, genetics, aging, and the new aspiration/fear system. Memories are generated by important events that occur in their lives, like getting married, having a child, etc. The sequel also features enhanced appearance editing tools that let you customize your sims' clothing, hairstyle and hair color, and also you can make many adjustments to their faces. Your Sims no longer exist aimlessly since the new system gives your sims one of five aspirations from which to choose and eventually fulfill, including building a family, earning money, seeking knowledge, experiencing romance, or being popular. A great feature of Sims 2 is that now the characters pass on their personality and physical attributes to their offsprings. Moreover, your characters actually grow old and even die of old age, like in the original game. Finally, The Sims 2 also looks much better than the original, since it is powered by an all-new 3D graphics engine.
